Originating in Japan centuries ago, Raku horsehair pottery involves using real hair and placing it onto a hot object right after being removed from the kiln, to create a unique and very interesting effect as it burns into it. This vase would fit nicely in modern, vintage or collected spaces alike and add tons of interest. Likely of Native American origin due to it's specific aesthetic qualities.
